caveman-commit
Part of Caveman by Julius Brussee · Apache-2.0
Writes the short note that goes with each saved version of your project, saying only what the change is for.
Read the skill itself: skills/caveman-commit/SKILL.md
Install it
caveman-commit comes with the rest of Caveman.
The commands below are for AI coding tools like Claude Code, which work with files on your computer. They won't do anything typed into a ChatGPT or Claude chat in your browser. Don't have a coding tool yet? Install Claude Code first.
Use the box for the tool you have, and copy its commands. Lines that start with / go in the tool's chat box. Other lines go in Terminal, the app where you type commands to your computer. A plugin is a bundle of skills made for one tool, and a marketplace is the list the tool installs it from.
Copied from the pack's own install instructions.

- cavemanSwitches the agent to short, no-filler replies while keeping code and commands exact. Say "stop caveman" to go back to normal.
- caveman-compressRewrites the instruction file your agent reads at the start of every session (in Claude Code, CLAUDE.md) in fewer words, and keeps a backup.
- caveman-reviewReviews a change and reports each problem as one line: where it is, what's wrong, how to fix it.
