Your AI coding helper
Claude Code is Claude, but instead of chatting in a browser it works inside a folder on your computer. You tell it what you want in plain English. It creates the files, runs them, and fixes them when you say something is wrong.
You need a paid Claude plan. Pro (about $20 a month) is enough to start. The free plan doesn't include Claude Code.
Do these in order:
- Install Claude Code. One line to paste, then log in. About 10 minutes.
- Your first project. Ask it to build something small and watch it work.
- Connect Claude Code to GitHub. Let it save your work for you.
Why Claude Code? Other companies make the same kind of helper. We picked one so every guide and video uses the same steps. If you already pay for ChatGPT or Grok, their versions are at the bottom of this list and work the same way.
