SQLite on the laptop, then a hosted Postgres. Stub until those threads exist.
Before you start:Env files
If the app must remember something after refresh, you need a database. Start with a file on disk (SQLite). Move to hosted Postgres when Vercel needs the same data.
Threads for SQLite and Postgres are not written yet. Until they exist: tell the agent you want SQLite locally with a file that is gitignored (*.db), and do not copy a production connection string into .env until you have read Env files.
